COMBATE PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Combate is designed to work without an account. Most app information remains on your device, and the limited analytics described below are used to understand broad usage patterns and improve the app.

Effective: August 1, 2026Last updated: August 1, 2026

Information Stored on Your Device

Combate stores your timer settings, presets, favourites, appearance and sound choices, and session history locally on your device. Where external-display customization is available, your gym name and processed logo are also stored locally in the app’s private storage.

This information is not uploaded to Combate or included in analytics. You can remove individual presets and session history from the app. Removing the app deletes its locally stored data from the device.

Analytics

Combate uses TelemetryDeck to understand general feature use and improve stability and performance. Analytics may include a privacy-preserving identifier for this app installation, app and operating-system information, device type, rounded timestamps, and coarse events such as opening Settings, starting or completing a timer, or using a preset.

Combate does not send names, email addresses, gym names or logos, preset names, exact timer configurations, sound choices, session history, photos, precise location, advertising identifiers, or the contents of files you select. Analytics are not linked to your identity and are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

For more information, read the TelemetryDeck Privacy Policy.

Notifications, Photos and Files

If you allow notifications, Combate schedules timer alerts locally on your device. The app does not use a remote push-notification service.

When logo customization is available, Photos and Files are accessed only after you choose an image. Combate processes and saves an app-owned local copy. The selected image is not uploaded by Combate.

Sharing and Retention

Combate does not sell personal information. The only third-party service receiving app analytics is TelemetryDeck, as described above. Locally stored information remains until you remove it in the app or delete the app. Analytics retention is governed by TelemetryDeck’s privacy policy.

Your Choices

You can disable notifications in iOS Settings, disable timer sounds or vibration in Combate, clear session history, and delete saved presets.

Privacy or deletion questions can be submitted using the support contact on Combate’s App Store page.

Children and Changes to This Policy

Combate is a general-purpose training timer and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This policy may be updated when the app’s features or data practices change. The effective date shown above identifies the current version.
